Brave Generation Academy (BGA) isn’t a conventional school. It’s an online secondary programme with local “hubs”, where learners study together with learning coaches. Ericeira is on BGA’s official list of hubs in Portugal.

Learners choose a curriculum: British (IGCSE and A Levels), American, or Portuguese+, which follows the Portuguese system in Portuguese and prepares for the national exams. BGA’s page describes these as secondary education.

We couldn’t confirm the hub’s address, the exact age range or how BGA is registered for compulsory schooling on an official source, so we’ve left them out. If you’re considering it, ask BGA how attendance is recorded for a child of compulsory school age, and which exams your child would sit.

BGA publishes one price list for its hubs in Portugal, but the page doesn't say which school year it covers, so we don't repeat the figures here. See the official fee page and ask BGA (checked 24 Oct 2026).

Questions parents ask

Is BGA a school?

Not in the usual sense. BGA is an online secondary programme. Learners follow their curriculum online and study together at a local hub with learning coaches. Ericeira is on its official list of hubs in Portugal.

What does BGA cost?

BGA publishes Portugal hub prices on its fee page, but the page doesn't say which school year they apply to. Ask BGA for the current figures.

Facts checked on the school's own website on 24 October 2026. Schools update fees and programmes every year, so please confirm details with the school before you apply.
