Colégio Miramar is a large Portuguese colégio in Lagoa, Santo Isidoro, about 10 km north-west of Mafra town and close to Ericeira. It teaches from 5.º to 12.º ano (about ages 10 to 18), in Portuguese.
It’s a private school funded by the state, so the school says teaching is free at every level. Places go first to children from its catchment area (Santo Isidoro, Encarnação, Sobreiro, Achada, Caeiros and Sobral da Abelheira); others are admitted if there’s room.
The school opened in 2005/06 and says it has about 1,200 pupils in 50 classes. Public buses (Transportes Metropolitanos de Lisboa) drop pupils inside the school grounds.
The school says teaching is free at every level, and its 2026 enrolment information repeats this (checked 24 Oct 2026). Pupils from its catchment area come first; others are admitted if places are left.
