Colégio Verde Água has two sites near Mafra town. The nursery in Carapinheira takes babies (berçário), creche and pre-school children up to age 6. The school in Igreja Nova teaches 1.º to 9.º ano.
Teaching is in Portuguese, built around project work and the Movimento da Escola Moderna approach, with extra English at the school. The nursery says it takes enrolments all year.
