The Lisboan is a young British international school in Lisbon. It opened in September 2025 and is part of Artemis Education, a British schools group.
Children follow the Cambridge International curriculum, working towards Cambridge IGCSEs. For now the school is open from Nursery (FS1) to Year 10. It is adding one year group at a time, and plans to offer the IB Diploma from 2027 as a candidate school, subject to authorisation.
A new school can be a lovely place to join early, while the community is still taking shape. If your child is older, ask how the senior years will grow so you know what’s ahead.
From The Lisboan's 2026/27 fee page and fee PDF (checked 22 October 2026). Food services (snack, lunch, snack) are compulsory for all students at €540 a term. Book, admin and capital fees are charged on top every year: €800 in primary and €1,000 in secondary. The school's two documents disagree on Year 7: the fee PDF puts Year 7 in secondary (€1,000), while the fee page lists Years 7–9 above its Secondary heading (€800), so ask the school which applies. The fee page and the PDF also show different tuition for Years 10–11, so we've left those out. The re-enrolment fee is for current students and is credited against the next year's Term 1 tuition if paid by 31 March.
